As a highly accomplished senior scientist and an immunologist, Shala finished her PhD in immunology and melanoma cancer research in 2002 at Monash University. For her postdoctoral fellowship Shala was offered a position at Shriners Hospital for Children (Portland, Oregon, USA).
After 10 years of postdoctoral fellowship in cancer research and immunology, Shala sought to start her second bachelor degree in health science (Naturopathy) at Endeavour College of Natural Health in 2012. Shala became interested in Bowen therapy to add another dimension for an integrative approach to medical related conditions and in 2015 became a qualified Bowen therapist, she also practices Reiki.
Shala’s clinical passion is in integrative and herbal medicine, nutrition and cancer support. Shala is also interested in other health issues such as cardiovascular health, reproductive issues, immune support, mental health, digestive and liver support.
Most of her clients are based in South Caulfield and surrounding suburbs where she has a strong network of local healthcare providers in other disciplines from whom she liaises and works with to reach clients health goals more effectively

Dr Shala Rasouli is a scientist (with special interests in immunology and oncology), an integrative naturopath, a Bowen therapist and a Reiki practitioner.
Shala has worked in Australia and USA in different hospitals, clinics and universities. She uses her scientific and alternative medicine knowledge and expertise to treat her clients comprehensively with a holistic approach. Shala has focused her attention to couple her years of scientific experience in immunology and oncology fields with her alternative/integrative approach using natural medicine. This approach has given Shala great advantage and expertise to provide support and guidance in the most challenging disorders and complicated cases. Shala firmly believes that in order to treat a patient you need to pay a specific attention to the root cause of the problem or the dis-ease.
